WebMay 4, 2012 · I am trying to mix a diluted species in a bubbling tank ( 1 inlet 3 outlet). The flow seems to work but I get very negative concentrations. initialy -10% but during the calculation in time this value drops to -50% of the inlet concentration. Is there a way to bind this concentration between the maximum (inlet) en 0? WebTwo models are implemented: an electrical model simulating the current density (reaction rate) distribution at the electrodes and a laminar bubbly flow model which solves for the electrolyte velocity induced by gas bubble production at the anode.

WebJul 2, 2012 · Using the models parameters and computing a time-step with the laminar bubbly flow model for 20 seconds is fine. I can get that to run, but then the instructions state to perform a stationary study for determining the time-averaged velocity field and volume fractions for introducing turbulence into the model. WebJul 29, 2016 · Under bubbly flow is the exciting part: Mass Transfer. Since this is in a vessel which is only being heated, therefore there is only mass transfer from liquid to gas, I could put something in the "mgl" box to represent the mass transfer. Over in the heat transfer in solids section, there is a temperature field available (T).
