The 212MS could be run in either 85 watts per channel in stereo @16 ohms or 170 watts @8 ohms in mono. The only reason I traded or sold them off was that I wanted Marshall cabs to fit in with the crowd since Peavey gear was considered uncool. tdi hunterWebMar 7, 2016 · Those older Peavey 412 cabs were really decent, well built cabs. Just as solid as any Marshall and more affordable too, which is probably why her husband "didn't buy a Marshall 35 years ago."
