SpletThis is a big state park with a lot of trails. I only hiked 5 miles on Swatara Rail Trail and I think the Bear hole trail. The Swatara Rail trail at the downstream end where it meets the AT follows an old road for approx 1 mile. Not enjoyable on a hot sunny day. Great for bikes, not hiking. Bear hole trail was very scenic.
